Terms & Conditions
This Consulting Services Agreement (the “Agreement”) is between DBC Project Consulting and the client (referred to as the “Client”). The purpose of this agreement is to outline the terms and conditions of consulting services provided by the Company.

Commitment to Project Success: The Client acknowledges the commitment of the Company and its consultants to their project success. Open communication is essential, and any questions or concerns about the consulting services should be directed to the consultant or to the designated contact at the Company.

Scheduled Calls: The Client agrees to adhere to the schedule of calls as agreed upon with their Company consultant.

Deposit and Commencement of Services: A $20 deposit is required at the onset of the consulting agreement. Consulting services will commence only after this agreement is signed and the deposit is fully paid.

Non-Refundable Deposit: The prepaid deposit is non-refundable and does not expire.

Billable Hours: Billable hours include all forms of communication with the consultant and any time spent by the consultant on tasks as instructed by the Client.

Billing Increments: The Company bills its consulting clients in 5-minute increments.

Billing Cycle: The Company has a two-week billing cycle, with invoices issued after each period. These invoices will detail the services provided, dates, and time billed.

Invoicing: Invoices are issued every two weeks for consulting services rendered. No invoice is issued if no services are provided during a billing period. Upon receiving an invoice, Client will have a 7-day period to review it, ask any questions, and, if necessary, update payment information. This grace period is in place to ensure that Clients have sufficient time to verify all information before payment is processed.

Payment Terms: All invoices are due within seven business days of receipt. Unpaid invoices may result in suspension of future services.

Payment Methods: Payments can be made by credit card or PayPal. Contact details for payment queries are provided.

Thesis and Dissertation Formatting Advisor and Committee Feedback: The Client remains responsible for obtaining feedback from their academic institution, advisor and committee.

Superseding Advice: The work provided by the Company’s consultant does not supersede the advice of the Client’s academic institution, dissertation/thesis advisor or committee.

No Guarantee of Acceptance: The Company does not guarantee that their advice or services will meet the criteria of the Client’s university or other reviewing parties.

Client’s Responsibility for Academic Content: The Client is responsible for the accuracy and originality of their work.

Client’s Responsibility for Work: The Client is fully responsible for the actual work of their academic project; Company consultants will not author any part of it.

Submission of Materials: The Client is responsible for providing all necessary materials for review and feedback.

IRB Approval: Formal IRB approval is required before any data analysis services are provided.

Accuracy of Data: The Client is responsible for the accuracy of any data provided for analysis.

Confidentiality: Information shared with the Company is confidential, subject to the provided confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement.

Limitation of Liability: The Client acknowledges the limitation of liability of the Company and its staff, with remedies limited to the amount paid for the services.
